I don't like the standard blogger templates although I use blogger with a blogger "hack" template. I don't know much about shutterchance, but I don't really care for the shutterchance layout either. I think if you can get a blogger hack template it would make a difference. Azhar made my Blogger Hack template but I have tweaked the template a little to show bigger images and a couple of text style changes. Good luck.
